ST. PAUL -- Minnesota Duluth and Denver play in the second 2019 NCHC Frozen Faceoff semifinal game Friday, March 22, Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, and a live blog will be available for fans to follow the action and participate through Twitter using the hashtag #FrozenFaceoff.
St. Cloud State defeated Colorado College 5-2 in the first semifinal, and will play the winner of the Minnesota Duluth and Denver game in the Frozen Faceoff championship Saturday.
The winner of that game receives an automatic bid to the 16-team NCAA Division I tournament. The semifinal losers play at 3:38 p.m. Saturday in the third-place game.
