Jaclyn Shepherd defeated former Duluth East standout Tabitha Kunst in 19 holes in the round of 32 at the Minnesota Women's State Match Play Championship on Monday at Mankato (Minn.) Golf Club.
Shepherd then advanced through the round of 16 with a bye.
Kunst recently completed her freshman year at Minnesota State-Mankato.
