Aberdeen finished with as many goals as the Minnesota Wilderness had shots in the first two periods in a 5-0 North American Hockey League victory Thursday night at Northwoods Arena in Cloquet.
Matt Vernon totaled 16 saves for the Wings, while Brad Belisle, John Sladic, Adam Pitters, Joe Strada and Jonathan Bendorf scored goals.
Ryan Fanti turned aside 38 shots for the Wilderness, who close the season at home against Aberdeen tonight.
