Goaltender Keenan Rancier stopped 36 shots to lead the Minot Minotauros to a 5-1 victory over the Minnesota Wilderness on Saturday night in Minot, North Dakota, completing a sweep of the team's North American Hockey League weekend series.
Gabe Temple, Jack Westlund, Tyler Kostelecky, Damon Zimmer and Reid Bogenhom scored for Minot to more than offset the lone Wilderness goal by Cole Hansen.
Jacob Zacharewicz made 39 saves for Minnesota.
Westlund scored with 3:17 remaining in the third period to give Minot a 3-2 win Friday night. Logan Anderson and Temple also scored for the Minotauros, while Bobby Metz and Greenway graduate Dante Lawson countered for the Wilderness.
Rancier turned away 37 shots in goal compared to the 31 saves by Minnesota’s Kaleb Johnson.
