Jordan Shockley had three assists Friday night to lead Duluth to a 4-1 Superior International Junior A victory over the Iron Range Ironheads at the Hoyt Lakes Arena.
A Ryan Tront short-handed goal put Duluth ahead for good halfway through the second period. The Clydesdales led 40-24 in shots on goal. Winning goalie Jason Dzurik made 23 saves.
Duluth is 2-3 and the Ironheads 0-5. The teams meet at 6 p.m. today at the Duluth Heritage Sports Center.
