Junior hockey: Clydesdales open season with loss

Duluth led 2-1 after one period on goals from Austin Snedden and Zachary Newman. Cole Sonstebo had two second-period goals for Dryden. Zachary Zanova scored in the third period for Duluth. Dom DeGuiseppi made 43 saves in the loss.

The Clydesdales, also at Dryden on Saturday night, open the home season at 7:30 p.m. today against the Minnesota Iron Rangers of Hoyt Lakes at the Duluth Heritage Sports Center.
