Ryan Ullan of Hibbing made 32 saves and Bismarck scored three goals in the first period en route to a 4-1 North American Hockey League victory over the Minnesota Wilderness on Saturday before 1,829 at Northwoods Arena in Cloquet.
After Mitchell Walinski opened the scoring at 6:11 in the first, teammates Michael Mahan and Grant Johnson scored just 13 seconds apart late in the period to give the Bobcats a 3-0 lead that was too big for the Wilderness to overcome, thanks to Ullan.
Minnesota bounced back with C.J. Regula's eighth goal of the season at 9:39 in the second period, but Andrew Bellant's empty-net goal at 18:18 in the third iced it.
Jacob Sibell (10 saves) started in net for the Wilderness before making way for Ryan Fanti (18 saves).
