The Duluth Huskies snapped a 15-inning scoreless streak but still lost 5-2 to the Green Bay Bullfrogs in a Northwoods League baseball game in front of 1,801 fans at Wade Stadium on Wednesday night.
The Huskies put at least one runner on base in every inning and outhit the Bullfrogs 11-9, but were held scoreless after the third inning thanks to a strong showing by Green Bay reliever Logan Elliot. Elliot earned a save after holding the Huskies to four hits and no runs over the final four innings.
Chase Barbary and Daniel Amaral each had three hits for the Huskies (6-12 second half), who fell to 9-21 at home this season. Amaral broke the 15-inning shutout streak after he stole third base and scored on a groundout in the first inning. Amaral stole three bases and scored again in the third inning on a wild pitch. But Duluth couldn’t keep pace with the Bullfrogs (11-7), who recorded runs in five innings.
Andrew Mahoney picked up the win after allowing two runs and striking out five batters in five innings.
The Huskies host La Crosse at 6:35 p.m. today.

Robinson has a 3.86 ERA in 32 2/3 innings this season and leads the team with four wins, while Longrie leads the team in saves (four) and ERA (1.96). Sabino is hitting .211 and is second in RBIs with 19.
