The Minnesota Wilderness scored three goals in the third period to beat the Bismarck Bobcats 3-1 on Friday in North American Hockey League play at Northwoods Credit Union Arena in Cloquet.

The win clinches Minnesota a spot in the top four of their division and a berth in the NAHL Robertson Cup playoffs.

Christian Galatz broke open the scoreless game 3:11 into the third period to give Minnesota a 1-0 lead.

Minnesota's Josh Phillips and the Bobcats' Quinn Rudrud then traded goals within 14 seconds of each other in the period's 13th minute, while Gavin Rasmussen scored his 13th goal of the season at 13:06 of the third.

Wilderness goaltender Jacob Zacharewicz stopped 38 of the 39 shots he faced Friday while Cameron Korpi made 34 saves for the Bobcats, who are back in Cloquet on Saturday to play the Wilderness at 7:15 p.m.
