Levi Cudmore capped Wisconsin-Superior’s rally with a power-play goal at 13:24 in the third period to lift the Yellowjackets past Wisconsin-Stevens Point in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men’s hockey championship Friday night at K.B. Willett Arena in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

Down 2-0, UWS came back with goals from Coltyn Bates and Chad Lopez to knot it up 2-2, setting up Cudmore’s heroics.

Myles Hektor had 22 saves for UWS (7-3) while Ryan Wagner had 29 saves for Stevens Point (7-4-1).

  • Samantha Scherling had two goals and an assist to lead Wisconsin-Eau Claire to an 8-2 victory over Wisconsin-Superior in the WIAC women’s semifinals in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Kylah Krause had 12 saves for Eau Claire (8-1-1) while McKenzie Whalen and Rose Beeman combined for 22 saves for UWS (4-6).
