Senior goalie Lori Huseby of Babbitt had the 20-save shutout to lead unbeaten St. Scholastica to a 5-0 victory over Concordia-Wisconsin in their NCHA women’s semifinal series opener Friday night at Mars Lakeview Arena.
Abby Pohlkamp had a goal and an assist as five players scored for the Saints (13-0), while Annalina Van Herckehad 31 saves for Concordia (10-8).

Blaine Caton had two goals and two assists as Marian kept the offensive pressure going through all three periods en route to a 6-3 victory over St. Scholastica in the opening game of their NCHA Harris Cup men's semifinal series in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
Colby Muise had 30 saves, Nathan Walker added a goal and an assist and Gianni Vitali chipped in three assists for the Sabres (9-7), who scored two goals in each period.
Arkhip Ledenkov continued his strong play with two goals and Nick Trenciansky had 33 saves for the Saints (7-7).
