Four players scored, and Kaleb Johnson had 34 saves to lead the Minnesota Wilderness to a 4-1 victory over the Minot Minotauros Sunday in a North American Hockey League game at Northwoods Arena in Cloquet.

After Minnesota’s Zach Michaelis and Minot’s Ethan Schmunk traded goals in the first period, Josh Phillips, Dane Stoyanoff and Ethan Wolthers scored goals for the Wilderness in the second period to put the game on cruise control.

That was more than enough offensive punch for Johnson, who stopped 15 shots in the third period alone.

Michaelis had a goal and an assist in Minnesota’s 5-4 victory over Minot late Saturday as the Wilderness earned the weekend sweep.
