St. Scholastica faces Lake Forest College in an NCHA Slaats Cup semifinal at 4 p.m. Friday, with a spot opposite top-seeded Adrian College in the finals on the line.

The Saints (14-9-3) swept Aurora University last weekend to advance to the semifinals for the third consecutive season.

CSS senior goaltender Lexi Thomeczek became the program's all-time leader in career saves last weekend and ranks fifth in NCAA Division III history with a .945 save percentage.

St. Scholastica and Lake Forest (16-10-1) have split the past two semifinal meetings and are 4-4 against each other in postseason play. Lake Forest swept a pair of one-goal games during the regular season.

NCHA regular-season champion Adrian (21-3-3) awaits the winner at 2 p.m. Saturday.
