Update: UMD athletics has posted the full 2018-19 schedule here. Below is the original story posted by the News Tribune on April 17. The schedule below has been updated with the dates for the lone TBD series at Merrimack.

For Bulldogs men's hockey fans who are already anxious to start mapping out Minnesota Duluth's road to a potential three-peat, you're in luck.

The NCHC released its composite conference schedule Wednesday and while UMD hasn't officially released the entire schedule, 94.4 percent of it is already out there thanks to UMD's own season-ticket brochure and reports from other media outlets.

UMD has two options for raising its second consecutive NCAA championship banner and third all-time as the Bulldogs host Alberta in an exhibition Oct. 5. The banner raising could wait until Oct. 11-12 when the Bulldogs open the regular season against Massachusetts-Lowell.

Other notable series include a trip to Wisconsin on Oct. 18-19 - the first meeting between those schools since they left the WCHA - and a home-and-home series with Minnesota on Oct. 25 in Minneapolis and the next night in Duluth.

Other nonconference series include a visit by Minnesota State-Mankato over Thanksgiving weekend Nov. 29-30. The Bulldogs also will travel to Merrimack over the holidays, but the exact dates of that series have not been announced.

NCHC play begins Nov. 8-9 against Denver at Amsoil Arena. North Dakota visits Jan. 24-25 and St. Cloud State comes to Amsoil Arena to close the regular season March 6-7. The first meeting against the Huskies, who are coached by former Bulldog Brett Larson, is Jan. 17-18 in St. Cloud.
