Minnesota Duluth dropped from fourth to fifth in the latest United States College Hockey Online Division I men's poll, released Monday.

The Bulldogs (11-5-2), who split in the Desert Hockey Classic on Dec. 28-29 in Glendale, Ariz., then lost 4-2 in an exhibition game Saturday to the U.S. U-18 national team.

St. Cloud State (14-2-2), which travels to Amsoil Arena for a two-game series against UMD this weekend, remained No. 1. Former UMD assistant coach Brett Larson is in his first year guiding the Huskies.

Other ranked NCHC teams include No. 3 Denver, No. 14 Western Michigan and No. 20 Miami. North Dakota fell out of the top 20.
