Thunder Bay beats Clydesdales
Thunder Bay scored short-handed and on a power play Wednesday night to defeat Duluth 4-1 in a Superior International Junior Hockey League game in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
A Quinn Rempel unassisted short-handed goal gave Thunder Bay a 2-0 lead early in the second period and Brennen Dubchak added a man-advantage score for a 3-1 advantage. Stefan Kosior scored for the Clydesdales.
The third period featured 23 penalties, including fighting majors to Joel Bogacki of Thunder Bay and Mark Williams of Duluth. Thunder Bay led 32-31 in shots on goal.
