Summer Classic kicks off Friday
The annual Lakeview Summer Classic hockey tournament begins a three-day run Friday at Mars Lakeview Arena.
Friday's first-round matchups pit East Grand Forks against Rochester Lourdes at 6:15 p.m., followed by host Duluth Marshall vs. Bemidji. Grand Rapids plays Mahtomedi at 9:15 a.m., followed by the final quarterfinal between Superior and St. Cloud Cathedral.
Semifinals and consolation games are Saturday, with the championship game slated for 3 p.m. Sunday.
