Duluth East plans to launch a Hall of Fame for athletics, academics and arts, beginning with the inaugural induction this October.
The public will be able to nominate people through Aug. 6. Nomination forms are available on the school website at www.duluth.k12.mn.us or in activities director Shawn Roed's office. The selection criteria are explained in detail on the nomination form. Inductees may be graduates, faculty members or community leaders affiliated with East, according to a news release.
A committee will make the final selections from the list of nominees.
The initial Hall of Fame weekend is scheduled for Oct. 12-13.
