Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin moves into 7AAA title game

Tyler Haigh caught Peratalo's scoring strike and also added a rushing TD for the Raiders.

Cade Stackpool tossed three touchdown passes to Marc Krebsbach, but the Blue Devils (5-5) were unable to convert any extra-point kicks or 2-point attempts in the four-point loss.

Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin (8-2) faces Cloquet (5-5) in the Section 7AAA championship Friday at 6 p.m. at Malosky Stadium.

McGregor 28, Cromwell 9

Alex Carlstrom ran for 291 yards on 28 carries and scored three 50-plus-yard touchdowns to lead the host Mercuries to the Section 5 Nine-Man semifinal win and ensure a new state champion.

Carlstrom had TD runs of 51, 61 and 67 yards to push him over 1,500 yards this season. Dylan Wilkie paced the defense with 18 tackles.

The Mercuries (9-1) will host Silver Bay at 7 p.m. Friday with a state berth on the line. Cromwell, which posted several upsets en route to the 2010 state title, finished 4-6.
