Virginia duo finished tied for third
Pat McBride and Pete Hill of Virginia Municipal Golf Course tied for third at the 39th Minnesota Golf Association Senior Four-Ball Championship on Tuesday and Wednesday at Prestwick Golf Club in Woodbury, Minn.
They shot a 7-under-par 137 over two rounds. The team of Larry Barnacle of Sawmill Golf Club in Stillwater, Minn., and Tom Smith of Bracketts Crossing Country Club in Lakeville, Minn., won with a 12-under 132, including a 7-under 65 on Wednesday.
McBride and Hill were tied for the lead after shooting a 6-under 66 in Tuesday's opening round before closing with a 71 on Wednesday.
