Scott Pavelski and Ross Fremont shot a 68 during qualifying at the 94th annual Arrowhead Men's Championship on a picture-perfect day for golf Thursday at Ridgeview Country Club in Duluth.
Defending champion Taylor Sundbom, who automatically received the top seed in the championship flight, posted a 74. Pavelski was awarded the second seed and Fremont the third. The cutoff for the championship flight was 78 on Thursday.
Match play begins Friday at 7:30 a.m. The championship flight will play two rounds Friday, the quarterfinals on Saturday and semifinals and final on Sunday.
