Duluth outdoor photographer and author Michael Furtman received nine Excellence in Craft awards from the Outdoor Writers Association of America at its recent annual conference in Rochester, Minn., according to a news release from OWAA.
Furtman received five awards for published photography, three awards for photographs submitted in the photography contest and one award for an article entered in the magazine division of the technical contest.
