St. Scholastica will host Presentation College at noon Saturday at Malosky Stadium in a nonconference game featuring two programs that have familiarity with each other.

Presentation, of Aberdeen, S.D., was in the UMAC for a season in 2011 before moving into NAIA. Presentation, which is averaging only 62 rushing yards per game, is off to an 0-2 start after a 44-0 setback to Dakota Wesleyan University (S.D.).

Presentation quarterback Hunter Giffrow has averaged 186 passing yards through the first two games but has thrown five interceptions. His top target has been Dylan Paulsen, who has 12 receptions for 134 yards, while Jerod Boswell leads the defense with 18 tackles, including two for loss.

St. Scholastica is coming off its first season-opening win since 2014 after the Saints downed another NAIA team, Mayville (N.D.) State, 42-35 in overtime at Malosky Stadium as senior quarterback Zach Edwards threw four touchdown passes. Edwards needs just one more TD pass to tie Tyler Harper’s program record of 63 in a career, and just five completions to tie Harper’s career record of 453.

Wide receiver Eddie Lee, meanwhile, became the eighth player in program history to record more than 1,000 receiving yards, while Mitchell Adrian set a single-game program record last week with 14 receptions for 104 yards and a TD. Linebackers Eric Soderberg of Cohasset and freshman Chase Klepppe of Orr led the defense with 13 tackles apiece.

St. Scholastica has won 12 straight at Malosky Stadium.
