Frozen Fest (EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER): The official NCAA party, running 2:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday and 3-8 p.m. Saturday, is in Lot C at United Center, near Gates 2 and 3 off Madison Avenue. The free event includes red carpet team arrivals, pep rallies, giveaways, live music, games and local food.

USCHO Live: USCHO.com will be broadcasting its online podcast live all week at Kitty O'Sheas at the Hilton Chicago on Michigan Avenue. Fans are invited to stop by. The show runs 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, 1-3 p.m. Thursday, 7-8:30 p.m. Friday and 3-5 p.m. Saturday. News Tribune Bulldogs beat writer Matt Wellens will be on the show about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Mike Richter Award: The Mike Richter Award, given to the national goaltender of the year, will be handed out during USCHO Live on Friday. Bulldogs freshman Hunter Miska is one of five finalists. ESPN's John Buccigross and Barry Melrose will host the Friday edition of USCHO Live and present the award during the show. The event is open to the public.

Hobey Baker Memorial Award: The Hobey Baker Memorial Award will be presented Friday at Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier on E. Grand Avenue. The event is free and open to the public. The party begins at 3:30 p.m. with autograph signing featuring the two teams in the national championship. The Hockey Humanitarian Award and announcement of the AHCA All-American teams will follow at 4:10 p.m. The Hobey will be presented at 5.
