Alex Kolquist sank a 35-foot putt on the first playoff hole Sunday at Enger Park Golf Course to secure first place in the championship flight for him and Reed Kolquist at the 2014 Hank Jensen Best Ball Scramble that took place over the weekend.
Four teams were involved in the sudden-death playoff after finishing the Saturday and Sunday scramble at 133. The Kolquists beat out Ryan Johnson and Chris Curb, Kevin Noreen and Brian Moore, as well as Rick Amatuzio and Derek Farrell.
Gary Luke and Gary Carlson won the Hank Flight with a 136. Also, Trevor DeRoche of Hermantown recorded a hole-in-one on No. 17 from 185 yards out with a 6-iron.
