Several trail segments in Duluth, including Ely's Peak tunnel, have reopened.

On Monday, the city announced that a segment reopened of the city-owned, abandoned Duluth, Winnipeg and Pacific Trail, which connects to the Willard Munger State Trail, as well as the Becks Road parking lot.

The segments and parking lot were closed as crews removed unstable or potentially unstable rocks in May as part of the DWP Mini Master Plan.
