Eh? loves a Thanksgiving turkey, catching them is the problem. It gets even harder when they run 5 kilometers.
The Gobble Gallop Races will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in downtown Duluth.
The run/walk races start and finish on London Road near 13th Avenue East. London Road will be closed from 10th Avenue East to 13th Avenue East at 7:45 a.m. Superior Street from Fifth Avenue West to 10th Avenue East will close at 8:45 a.m. Superior Street eastbound traffic will be detoured up to Second Street to continue east. Westbound traffic will be sent up 10th Avenue East to First Street to continue west.
Lake Avenue will be blocked off at Superior Street. To access Canal Park travel down Fifth Avenue West to the connector to Railroad Street, and from the freeway exits onto South Lake Avenue.
Downtown traffic is expected to return to normal by 11:30 a.m.
