Duluth's Chris Plys and Cory Christensen continued to lead their respective divisions during the second day of the United States trials for the 2013 Winter World University Games on Saturday at the Four Seasons Curling Club in Blaine, Minn.

Duluth's Chris Plys and Cory Christensen continued to lead their respective divisions during the second day of the United States trials for the 2013 Winter World University Games on Saturday at the Four Seasons Curling Club in Blaine, Minn.

Plys and his teammates, which include Hibbing's Jared Zezel, defeated Alex Leichter 9-3 to remain undefeated in the round-robin standings.

Christensen and fellow Duluthians Anna and Sonja Bauman downed Rachel Tharalson's North Dakota squad 9-3 to also remain unbeaten heading into Saturday night's draws.

The winning teams will be nominated to represent Team USA in the University Games in December in Trentino, Italy.
