Duluth East boys basketball players take a turn as virtual boy band

The Duluth East boys basketball team has added to the ever-growing list of "together while apart" bittersweet tributes to camaraderie with a lip-synched video of a Backstreet Boys song.

Freshman assistant coach Zach Duket posted a video Friday, May 8, of the team dancing and mouthing the words to "I Want It That Way." It had reached more than 1,700 views Saturday evening. ( The official music video by the Backstreet Boys of the 1999 pop hit has more than 766,315,700 views.)

Eight weeks since their season ended, players were encouraged to enjoy time with their families, stay positive and continue social distancing.
