Duluth Denfeld rallies past Hibbing in boys soccer

The Hunters (3-3-1) trailed 3-2 at halftime as the Bluejackets' Taylor Persson scored twice.

Duluth East 4, Duluth Marshall 1

Trygve Rennan, Josiah Osborne and Wes Anderson all scored in the opening 10 minutes to lead the host Greyhounds past the Hilltoppers.

Osborne added his second goal in the second half as East (5-2-1), which is on a four-game unbeaten run.

Westin Michaud netted a hat trick and Nolan Ripp contributed a pair of goals to lead the host Lumberjacks to the nonconference win.

Cloquet-Esko-Carlton (4-2-2) extended its home unbeaten streak to 14.

Junior forward Hailey Hoff notched a hat trick in the Hawks' nonconference home shutout of the Thunderhawks.

Kelly Alworth's overtime goal completed a Hilltoppers comeback from a two-goal second-half deficit in a nonconference game at Two Harbors.

Megan Coughlan and Taylor Mundy scored in the final 15 minutes of regulation to force overtime before Alworth netted the game-winner in the 83rd minute for Marshall (5-4).

The Raiders won 15-10 in the fifth game to capture the nonconference matchup of unbeatens Monday night in Coleraine.
