Four events for Bike to Work Week will take place Friday across Duluth.
A rally from 7-9 a.m. at the Minnesota Power Plaza at Lake Avenue and Superior Street will offer free bicycle inspections, Duluth Transit Authority bike rack demonstrations, bicycling information and refreshments.
The YMCA at 302 W. First St. will provide free bike storage and showers for bicyclists; the DTA will provide free bus rides to bikers; and Continental Ski and Bike will host a festival at the Fitger's Brewery Complex, 600 E. Superior St., throughout the day.
Aspiring cyclists need not register to participate in the events.
