Northlanders Greg Anderson and Jason Line didn't make it out of the Pro Stock quarterfinals on Sunday at the National Hot Rod Association's Midwest Nationals in Madison, Ill.
Both were victorious in the first round before Anderson (6.591 seconds), the Duluthian, fell to Jeg Coughlin (6.573) in the quarters and Wright native Line (10.660) did the same against Vincent Nobile (6.580).
The rough showing dropped Anderson from third to fifth in the overall points standings through 20 of 24 events, while Line remained in seventh place.
