It's six days until the Minnesota firearms deer opener . That gives you about five more days to hunt ruffed grouse without crowds in the woods, five more days to make sure your deer rifle shoots straight, five more days to walk rural trails without wearing blaze orange. On Saturday, most of Minnesota's 450,000 firearms deer hunters will go hunting.
