There's a little trail that leaves Seven Bridges Road in Duluth just uphill and across from the small parking area near the "Smiley's" swimming hole on Amity Creek. Follow the trail westerly just a few hundred yards when the first blush of green begins to come on the aspen. It's a spectacular view, right in town - the creek glinting below, a sea of soft green, and that big lake beyond.
