The Team USA mixed doubles duo of Sarah Anderson and Minnesota Duluth student Korey Dropkin improved to 5-0 in the Curling World Cup with two more wins Friday in Suzhou, China.
The Americans defeated South Korea 18-4 and host China 9-2 to stay unbeaten in the round-robin format.
The U.S. faces Switzerland today with a spot opposite Canada in the finals on the line.
• Nina Roth and the U.S. women's team, including Aileen Geving of Duluth, suffered their first loss of the tournament, 9-1 to Rachel Homan's Canadian squad. The Americans bounced back to beat Korea's Minji Kim's rink 8-5 to improve to 3-1 in round-robin play.
