Sydney Schmus' Madison rink edged Jamie Kraus' Duluth Curling Club team 6-5 in the women's finals of the USA Curling Club National Championships on Saturday at Dakota Curling Club in Lakeville, Minn.
Schmus led 6-1 before the Duluth team of Kraus, Kerry Hadiaris, Anna Bauman and Jill Brozic scored in four straight ends to make the score closer.
Kraus defeated Chicago's Sara Gaum 10-2 in Friday night's semifinals.
