Wisconsin-Superior's dominant position in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference women's soccer standings was reflected with a dominant position in the all-conference team, released on Tuesday.
Six of the 11 first-team selections were Yellowjackets, led by defensive player of the year Lindrey Schendel, a junior. Coach Allison DeGroot was the coach of the year. The Yellowjackets have given up just 0.82 goals per game as they went unbeaten through conference play for the second consecutive season.
Other first-team selections included forwards Mya Holmquist and Niya Wilson, midfielder Allison Alessi, defender Halley Carlson and goalkeeper Jenna Lang.
Defender Tori Vosburg was a second-team selection, while forward Kamryn Hill received honorable mention.
