College women's soccer: UMD ties unbeaten Bemidji State

Skye Finley celebrated Senior Day by scoring twice in the opening 15 minutes before the unbeaten Beavers (13-0-3 overall, 11-0-3 NSIC) crawled back to tie the Bulldogs (9-5-3, 6-5-3) on goals by Miranda Famestad and Allyson Smith in a 58-second span before halftime.

UMD junior goalkeeper Sisley Ng made a career-high 11 saves to keep the score deadlocked and give the Bulldogs a chance to earn a postseason berth by defeating Minnesota-Crookston on the road today.

UMD holds a tiebreaker edge over St. Cloud State for eighth place in the league.

• Becca Rancour scored her 21st goal of the season as St. Scholastica rolled past Bethany Lutheran College 5-0 on Saturday at Malosky Stadium in a UMAC regular-season finale.

• Molly Hancuh scored a pair of goals to lead Minnesota-Morris to a 3-1 UMAC victory over Wisconsin-Superior on Saturday in the regular-season finale at NBC Spartan Sports Complex. Megan Tschida stopped five shots for the Cougars (9-7-1 overall, 7-4-1 UMAC), while Bailey Henderson stopped eight shots for the Yellowjackets (4-12-1, 3-7-1), who didn't qualify for the conference tournament.
