College women’s soccer: Saints picked to repeat as UMAC champs

St. Scholastica is picked to repeat as UMAC regular-season champions, according to the preseason coaches’ poll released Monday.

The Saints garnered 63 points and seven first-place votes, with 2019 UMAC tournament champion Northwestern second with 58 points and two first-place votes.

Wisconsin-Superior is third with 48 points after a strong run to end the 2019 season, including a 1-0 victory over St. Scholastica in the UMAC tournament semifinals.
