St. Scholastica announced Monday that nine players will join the team in the fall, including Duluthian Morgan Friday.
Friday, who played high school soccer at Shattuck St. Mary's in Faribault, Minn., will join her brother, Nolan, at CSS. Friday's parents also played at St. Scholastica.
Others announcing their intention to play for the Saints: midfielder/defender Melissa Johnson, who will transfer in from Hamline; Blaine forward Hannah Quick; Cambridge-Isanti defender Hallie DeVries; East Grand Forks defender/midfielder Grace Beck; Mahtomedi goalkeeper Taelynn Gittins; Mounds View forward Kaiya Quam; Stillwater midfielder Andria Hanson and Superior's Maija Kittelson, whose brother, Logan, is a sophomore on the CSS men's team.
The Saints are coming off their ninth NCAA Division III tournament appearance in the last 11 seasons.
