College women’s soccer: Macalester rallies to down Saints in MIAC women’s soccer

CSS led 1-0 at the break before yielding two goals in the second half.

St. Scholastica’s Morgan Friday of Duluth opened the scoring with a goal at 25:48 on an assist by Kaiya Quam before Grochulska scored the equalizer at 52:06 and Eckstein scored the game-winner at 54:45.

That’s how it would stay as Dana Gustafson had four saves for Macalester (8-3-2 overall, 3-3-1 MIAC) and Brianna Jorgenson had 10 saves for CSS (3-7-3, 3-3-1).

The Saints play another MIAC game in St. Paul when they play St. Catherine at 1 p.m. Saturday.
