Yukeria Haywood scored in the 83rd minute to lift Macalester College to a 1-0 victory over St. Scholastica in a nonconference game Thursday in St. Paul.
The Scots (2-5-2) dominated with an 11-2 edge in shots on goal but Roni Rudolph of Duluth saved 10 shots to keep the Saints (5-4-2) in the contest until Haywood scored her second goal of the season on a one-timer to the right corner of the net off a cross from the left wing.
