College women’s Nordic skiing: St. Scholastica’s Dickinson eighth

Junior Kelsey Dickinson finished eighth to lead the St. Scholastica women’s Nordic ski team Sunday at the Michigan Tech Junior National Qualifier in Houghton, Mich.
Dickinson covered a 10-kilometer freestyle track made slow by fresh snow and frigid temperatures in 35 minutes, 35 seconds. Ellie Evans (17th), Allison Ternes (25th) and Greta Jenkins (33rd) also fared well for the Saints.
Annie Hart, a former All-American at Dartmouth, won in 32:40.
