BEMIDJI -- Haley Mack led a Bemidji State rally from two goals down and the Beavers ended Minnesota Duluth’s three-game win streak 4-2 on Friday.
Mack score Bemidji State’s first goal to halve UMD’s lead in the second period, then netted the game-tying goal later in the period.
Paige Beebe scored the go-ahead goal midway through the third and Abby Haluska added an empty net goal to ice it.
The team’s play the second game of the weekend at 3:07 p.m. Saturday in Bemidji.
UMD’s Anna Klein staked the Bulldogs to an early lead with a goal on an assist from Gabbie Hughes at 2:59 of the first period.

The Bulldogs’ Jalyn Elmes made it 2-0 on a power play at 14:10 of the first on assists from Hughes and Ashton Bell.
From that point on, it was all Bemidji, offensively and defensively.
Mack scored on a power play at 9:45 of the second period on assists from Clair DeGeorge and Beebe. She scored again about five minutes later on assists from Reece Hunt and Tina Kampa.
Hunt and Kampa also set up Beebe’s eventual game-winner at 10:02 of the third.
BSU goalie Lauren Bench made 19 saves and the Beavers killed four of UMD’s power plays.
UMD goalie Maddie Rooney made 23 saves.
