After a weekend sweep of then-No. 4 Boston College, Minnesota Duluth rose to fourth in the latest United States College Hockey Online Division I poll released Monday.
UMD (2-0), which was ninth in the USCHO preseason poll, is ranked behind Clarkson and WCHA rivals Wisconsin and Minnesota. Ohio State, another WCHA foe, is ranked fifth.
The Bulldogs host the Gophers at Amsoil Arena on Friday and Saturday.
