Minnesota Duluth won its third consecutive game by shutting out Western Collegiate Hockey Association rival Bemidji State 3-0 Friday at Amsoil Arena.
Emma Stauber scored a short-handed goal off an assist from Jenna McParland to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead late in the second period. Ashleigh Brykaliuk and Hannah Bramm each added a goal for the Bulldogs, while Zoe Hickel had two assists and Lara Stalder and Meghan Huertas each added one. Goalie Kayla Black made 17 saves to preserve the shutout for UMD (7-4-2 overall, 5-4-2 WCHA). The Bulldogs outshot the Beavers 42-17.
Brittni Mowat stopped 39 shots for Bemidji State (6-7-2, 3-5-1).
