Julia Tylke scored the game-winning goal with 3:40 left in the third period as St. Cloud State defeated Minnesota Duluth 3-2 in a WCHA game Saturday in St. Cloud.
The Huskies (4-6 overall, 2-4 WCHA) earned a split of the weekend series with the Bulldogs (5-4-1, 3-4-1) despite being outshot 50-21.
Hannah Potrykus scored the other two St. Cloud State goals in the second period, sandwiched around UMD power-play goals by Ryleigh Houston and Naomi Rogge.
Houston's fourth of the season came at the 8:37 mark, followed 5:07 later by Rogge's fifth.
UMD goaltender Maddie Rooney made 18 saves but was outshone by the Huskies' Emma Polusny, who stopped 48 shots.

Goalie Lexi Thomeczek saved 45 shots, including six in overtime, as the Saints preserved a nonconference draw with the Auggies in Minneapolis.
Courtney Bloemke and Kayla Kasel scored goals for St. Scholastica (1-0-1), while Emly Ach and Hollywood Hermanson netted goals for Augsburg, which owned a 47-14 edge in shots on goal.

Jamie Byrne scored in the first period and Allie Stanger notched the game-winner 12:08 into the third as the Gusties spoiled the Yellowjackets’ season opener at Wessman Arena.
Amanda Sergent scored the lone goal for UWS, which was outshot 34-22. Catherine Johnson, who spent the past two seasons as a UMD backup, made 32 saves for the Yellowjackets.
