St. Scholastica and Wisconsin-Eau Claire skated to a 2-2 tie in a nonconference game Friday in Eau Claire.
Isabel Waidacher and Kaitlin Johnston each scored a goal, Nina Waidacher had two assists and goalkeeper Sheridan Friesen made 22 saves for St. Scholastica (0-0-1). The Saints outshot the Blugolds 45-24.
Andi Husted and Nikki Kothenbeutel each scored a goal and former Duluth Northern Stars goalie Paige Turner stopped 43 shots for Wisconsin-Eau Claire (0-0-1).
