Freshman Isabel Waidacher broke a tie game with a power-play goal with 8:26 remaining in the third period Tuesday night to lift eighth-ranked St. Scholastica over Saint Mary's 2-1 in a nonconference game, ensuring the Saints would remain unbeaten heading into Thanksgiving.
Nina Waidacher, who scored the Saints' first goal in the second period, assisted on her sister's game-winner.
The Cardinals (2-4) answered 11 seconds after Nina Waidacher's tally on a goal by Heidi Martin.
Sheridan Friesen made 16 saves for the Saints (7-0-2).
