College women's hockey: Saints fall to St. Norbert

St. Scholastica's season came to an end after falling to St. Norbert 3-2 in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association tournament semifinals on Friday in Lake Forest, Ill.

Michelle Rebeck and Kaitlin Johnston each scored a goal while Lindsey Hartfiel made 33 saves for St. Scholastica (15-8-3). Four of the game's five goals were scored in the third period, including Johnston's tally with just 40 seconds remaining as the Saints closed to within a goal.

Jillian Kosteck, Tarraneh Dadgar and Henriette Ostergaard all scored goals for the Green Knights (19-6-2) and Kaley Gibson stopped 32 shots.

St. Norbert advances to face Lake Forest in the NCHA championship on Saturday. Lake Forest defeated Adrian 2-1 to move on to the finals.
